Herbal Medicine Guides
Herbal medicine, or the practice of using plants, mushrooms and lichens as medicine, dates back to the beginning of human history millennia ago. We now have synthetic versions of many herbal medicines, but the originals have stood the test of time.
Modern scientific studies are not confirming the effectiveness and safety of these time-honored medicinal practices, and where possible, I've cited relevant studies that confirm their efficacy.
These guides include how to use herbs, as well as specific recipes for herbal preparations like tinctures, oils, syrups, and salves.
